The Brazilian Symposium on Information and Computational Systems Security (SBSeg) is a scientific event held annually by the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC) under the responsibility of the Special Committee on Information and Computer Systems Security (CESeg) of the SBC. It represents the main forum in the country for the dissemination of research results, debates, and exchange of ideas and activities relevant to information security and computer systems, integrating the Brazilian community of researchers and professionals working in this area. Currently, the event is classified as Qualis A4 by CAPES – The Brazilian Agency of Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel.
In 2023, the 23rd edition of the symposium will be organized by the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF) from September 18 to 21, 2023. SBSeg23 will be a unique opportunity for participants to take advantage of technical sessions, short courses, workshops, and lectures given by internationally renowned guests.
The event will occur in person. However, this will depend on the health conditions and decrees in force during the period of the event. Any changes will be reflected on the event website.
